AN “ANTI-DRUG ABUSE OPEN FORUM” IS BEING HELD ON THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2019, AT 7:00 P.M., AT HARRISBURG FIRST ASSEMBLY, LOCATED AT 4100 N. PROGRESS AVENUE, IN SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP.
 
REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE “DRUG AND ALCOHOL COMMISSION” WILL BE ON-HAND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT IN-PATIENT DETOX FACILITIES AND REHAB CENTERS IN DAUPHIN, CUMBERLAND, AND PERRY COUNTIES.  THE PENNSYLVANIA ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE WILL SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT ITS LONG-TERM DETOX & REHAB FACILITY. OTHER SPEAKERS WILL INCLUDE: JPT RECOVERY AND VETERAN SERVICES; THE OFFICE OF VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION, WHO PROVIDES ON THE JOB TRAINING; AND A
FORMER OPIOID USER.

THE “OPEN FORUM” WILL ALSO ALLOW FRIENDS AND FAMILIES TO ASK OPEN-MIC QUESTIONS ABOUT SPECIFIC FAMILY SITUATIONS AND CONCERNS.
